Hi I'm Vanessa, from With Heart support services.

I work as part of a caring team -Motueka Doula team, which offers you support through your pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I am an independent Doula, I have my own clients. And me being part of the Motueka Doula team means we can offer you continuity of care.

I have a deep passion to support the natural and sacred process of birth.
It's been a dream of mine to continue to inspire birth as 'a woman centered' right of passage. After my 3 home births- one was a water birth, and being present at friends and family's home births, and hospital births. I have always wanted to do this work.
I have now done training as a Doula -through Nurture Within's, Birth and postpartum Doula Certification, as well as birth trauma support training.

I have been a community support worker for many years and I very much enjoy meeting families and taking the time to get to know each other. Becoming familiar with how best to support you and your unique family is a a cornerstone of what I do.

I offer Nurturing care, which aims to compliment your midwife. And a range of services to support your journey from maiden to mother. And if its your second child- the next phase on in the continuum.

I bring my skills as a trained Zen Shiatsu Acupressure-Massage therapist.
This soothing treatment promotes deep relaxation and rejuvenation. It is known to help during pregnancy, labour support-with potential calming, pain relief during your birth, and postpartum recovery. Specials on Doula /Shiatsu package. Follow this link to check out more details.

Birth Trauma resolution-Before you birth again, it can be healing to process and integrate past experiences. I hold space for rebuilding confidence, and supporting your mental and emotional well-being.
