Kia ora I'm Sarah, the one-mum behind Real Family Photography. I provide outdoorsy families who hate awkward poses with documentary photography in Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough.
I document all stages of before and during being a mum: maternity, birth, newborn and family.

My style of photography honours your family's story by photographing what actually occurs in your everyday world. Even if I weren’t there with my camera, these true moments would still be happening.
In 2025 I was honoured to be a Finalist Documentary Photographer of the Year. I am award-winning, NZIPP Accredited Professional Photographer with over 24 years experience.
