Laura is the owner of Mandorla Massage and is based in Motueka, where she lives with her family. She is passionate about massage and has been working in the field since 2004.
Her treatments are unique, in that they incorporate different techniques. Each session is adapted to the individual's needs at that time, treating deep tension resulting from acute or chronic conditions and creating a state of deep relaxation.

Her clients range from athletes training for major events, ladies in late pregnancy wanting relief and support, post natal Mums needing help with recovery and adapting to the demands of motherhood, to stressed out office workers needing a soothing relaxation massage.

Due to having such a comprehensive skill set, Laura is able to adapt to the variety of cases with which she is presented on a daily basis.

Laura works with a purpose designed massage table that provides the ultimate comfort and support during pregnancy. The padded inserts are removed to reveal a sling that gives complete support to the growing baby bump. This enables the client to enjoy the experience of lying on their front and takes the strain off their lower back. This position is so good for a thorough back and shoulder massage, accessing all the places that store tension during pregnancy. It also adapts to support breastfeeding mums, with the option of removing an insert that provides space and support around the upper torso.
