About

Ni Hao! Kia Ora! My name is Yun Liu, you also can call me Yvonne. I come from the city of Guang Zhou in South China. I like gardening, travelling, music, art, yoga, flamenco dancing, and outdoor and tea ceremonies with beautiful rituals.

I am passionate about the Pikler approach, Dr Shanker’s Self-Reg method, and outdoor education. I worked for Childspace for more than 10 years and completed my ECE degree at the end of 2013.

Now I work as a part-time teacher in a beautiful centre called the children’s garden in Stoke. I have always known I would love working with infants and toddlers. Since late 2015, I have been ongoing to study at the Pikler-Loczy institute in Budapest to deepen my understanding of the Pikler Approach and work toward becoming a Pikler Pedagogy.

In 2016, I completed a facilitator course called ‘Dance with me in the heart’ with Pennie Brownlee, and then my heart was telling me to create an “Aroha Spot”. A magical space for you and your baby to learn to ‘dance’.
Together we can create a magical partnership.
